Tungate Law Office  ·  Watseka, Illinois

Planning for the future.
Helping families through what comes next.

For decades, Tungate Law has been part of Watseka and Iroquois County — helping local families with estates, property, planning, and the responsibilities that follow the loss of a loved one.

Why Experience Matters

“Experience matters when property, family, and generations intersect.”

Deep Roots

A neighbor, not a case number

Tungate Law has been part of this community for nearly fifty years — and it remains in family hands. The practice is led today by J. Sumner Majer, nephew of founder Susan Sumner Tungate, who established the office in 1976 and served twenty years as a judge of the Twenty-First Judicial Circuit before her retirement.

In this county, an estate is often a home, farmland, or property held for generations — not just accounts. We know this community, we explain things plainly, and we treat your family's affairs with the care they deserve.
